Fish an Anime RNG Character Index and gem claims
Do not tap Claim until your rarest catch is sitting on the Lemon Stand.
The Character Index in Fish an Anime RNG is the collection tracker for unique anime pulls. Completing Index progress pays gems, but the payout snapshot cares who is on the Lemon Stand when you claim. That single timing rule is why players with the same roster walk away with very different gem totals.
This page is the Index-only deep dive. Pair it with trading to fill holes, gem farming to unlock the stand at Rebirth 5, and rarity so you know which pulls actually move the snapshot.
What the Index tracks
The Index lists unique characters you have caught, not how many duplicates sit in the backpack. A common you already logged does not help. A new rarity you have never registered does. Treat it as a checklist of firsts, then as a gem invoice you only cash when the stand multiplier is high.
Public drop-rate sheets still do not exist. Do not pause Rebirth chains to hunt one missing name unless that name also upgrades Lemon Stand rarity or platform cash (unit roles).
Claim timing: Lemon Stand first
Community guides agree on the order:
- Reach Rebirth 5 and buy the Lemon Stand for about 1,000,000 cash.
- Place your rarest available character on the stand. Rarity can scale gem output up to about 15x versus a common occupant.
- Then claim Index gem rewards.
- Spend those gems in the gem shop on platforms, researchers, or Triple Hook — not cosmetics.
Claiming while a filler occupies the stand is the expensive mistake. The Index does not wait for you to notice. If a claim button is lit and the stand is wrong, swap first.
Filling holes without stalling income
Three legal ways to register a missing Index entry:
- Pond fishing with your best rod and a Luck Potion window (potions, fishing ponds).
- Cosmic Boxes from codes opened during an active session.
- Trading a duplicate for the missing unique (trading). Both sides must confirm. Never Discord middlemen.
Do not dump a fed carry off a cash platform just to park a slightly rarer Index target unless the stand occupant is strictly better. Food wipes on Rebirth; a bad swap costs a cycle.
Index versus platforms
Platforms print cash. The Index prints gems when claimed well. Early accounts should finish Rebirth loops and luck nodes before treating Index as a main quest. After Lemon Stand exists, Index claims become part of the daily gem routine: collect stand gems, claim Index if the occupant is correct, buy the next permanent shop node.
What the Index does not do
It does not merge collections in clans. It does not survive as a reason to skip rebirth. It does not replace Auto Fish at the dock (auto fish). It does not need an executor “auto claim” from the scripts hub — that is a ban path, not a shortcut.
Finding the Index panel
Open the left sidebar near Store, Rebirth, and Clan. If the Index button is missing, finish the tutorial first — the same lock that hides codes also hides collection menus. Controls maps the click path on PC, mobile, and console. Servers do not share Index progress: an eight-player lobby only makes trading easier.
Snapshot, not a live feed
Claim captures Lemon Stand occupancy at the click. Swapping a rarer unit onto the stand afterwards does not rewrite an invoice you already collected. The next claim waits for new Index progress. If a button is lit and the occupant is wrong, swap first, then tap.
Cosmic Boxes and codes
Codes and Cosmic Boxes can register uniques you have never fished. That still does not skip the stand check. Open boxes during an active session so you can place a new high rarity before you tap Claim.
Event days
Before Admin Abuse on 30 August 2026 (event recap), claim Index only after the stand is loaded. A live economy retune is a bad moment to leave gems unclaimed and a worse moment to claim them on a common.
